Our staff is dedicated to providing our patients with the best and most caring experience during their visit.

At Atlantic Urgent Care we are laser focused on saving our patients valuable time by providing speedy but highly professional medical service. Throughout the years of practice we gained strong reputation in the community. We enjoy the practice of medicine, with the goal of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our patients.

We diagnose and treat a  wide range of ailments. from the common, quick and easy to diagnose illness to the more complex conditions that require an advanced approach, including sending the patient for stat blood workup and or imaging studies. We are able to help patients avoiding a trip to the ER. We essentially do the exact same workup as if the patient has gone to the ER. The time and money saving of this approach made our clinic the “place to go to” for moderate acuity, non-life threatening medical conditions.

Our providers are armed with solid experience in emergency medicine, which allows us to take this approach. We also know when a patient needs to go to the ER immediately and not to waste valuable time in outpatient workup. We screen sicker patients at the front desk, before we even sign them in. Once we identify a more serious problem, we ask the patient to proceed to the ER immediately.

It is our delight, goal and passion to provide our patients with the best medical care possible, and to do everything we can for them.  We go the extra mile for our patients. We are honored to take care of you as a patient, and thank you for trusting us with your medical needs.

How does it work?

Many of these moderate acuity illnesses do not require hospitalization. We help our patients in many instances by initially utilizing the diagnostic tools available at our clinic to make the diagnosis and treat the patient. In some cases we offer to send the patient to outpatient Lab or imaging center for further workup if needed. We then make a final treatment plan once all test results are available. If the patient’s test results indicate a more serious condition that requires hospitalization, we then advice the patient to go to the local ER for admission.

If we determine upon initial evaluation that the patient needs to be evaluated in the ER setting, we do not initiate any outpatient diagnostic workup and advice the patient to go to the ER immediately.
